The twin room at Ledges Retreat was cozy with a bathroom that had both a bath and shower. It had a TV with DSTV, perfect for relaxing and catching up on my favorite shows. And the best part was the small fridge and kettle for unlimited tea and coffee supplies. It felt like a home away from home, and I loved every minute of it!
Personally, I didn't enjoy the communal kitchen. But hey, that's just my taste, and others might still find it convenient.

Our stay at Ledges Retreat surpassed expectations with breathtaking mountain views, spotless accommodation, and helpful staff. The cozy fireplace warmed the house, beds were comfy, and bathrooms were pristine. Proximity to Royal Natal National Park was a bonus for nature lovers. Meeting the warm and pleasant host was a regret, but we wish her the best. Beautiful location, peaceful, clean unit, accommodating host, no cellular signal.
Nothing, all excellent.

The view of the mountains is absolutely breathtaking and the peacefulness of the location is mind-blowing. The sound of the water stream from our room was super relaxing. The staff, especially the woman at the reception, were amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The delicious buffet-style food included in our room package was a jaw-dropping experience. The concept of the place, the position, and hospitality were fantastic. Meeting wonderful people from all over the world was a pleasant surprise. The staff were always helpful and had a constant smile on their face. The breakfast was great, and I would definitely go back for another stay. The scenery is out of this world, with a beautiful view of the Drakensbergen. The quiet location allowed for a stunning night sky filled with stars. We received a warm welcome and plenty of information about the area. The shower was good, and the shared kitchen with braai was a bonus. The nearby Gorge trail was fantastic, but make sure to bring plenty of water on hot days. The amenities such as free Wi-Fi, free parking, electric kettle, cookware/kitchen utensils, flat-screen TV, laundry facilities. The outdoor dining area, picnic tables, and children's play area were perfect for relaxing and spending time outdoors. The availability of cots and board games was a nice touch. The seasonal outdoor pool allowed for a refreshing dip on sunny days. It was great that no pets were allowed on site, ensuring a clean and quiet environment. this place exceeded our expectations and made for a truly unforgettable experience.

I loved the cozy and charming decor of the hotel. The common areas were beautifully decorated with warm colors and comfortable furniture, making me feel right at home. The hotel was also very accessible for senior people like myself, with easy access to the rooms and elevators available for those who needed assistance.
I would have preferred if the staff had been more attentive and helpful to the needs of senior guests. The children working there could have been more accommodating and understanding of our needs, ensuring that we had a better and more enjoyable vacation experience.

We were able to explore the picturesque mountains and enjoy breathtaking views right at our doorstep. The well-maintained mountain bike trails provided endless fun for the kids, keeping them entertained throughout our stay. For dads, it would be great to have more child-friendly activities available for families with children.

The staff were friendly and helpful, making our Christmas stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect, nestled at the base of a stunning mountain and close to a beautiful river. Plus, the lodge had a fantastic swimming pool with breathtaking mountain views.
There were issues with the Wi-Fi signal, which could only be accessed near the reception, and the toilet paper provided was of poor quality. the renovations taking place were unsightly and somewhat disruptive.
